Do I need to travel to Saudi Arabia?

No. The entire process can be managed remotely. NAL Lawyers are experienced in handling international investors without requiring physical presence in Saudi Arabia.

What is the minimum investment?

There is no fixed minimum, but properties on our platform start from around £187,000 (SAR 850,000). We recommend speaking to our team about the right entry point for your budget.

Can I get a mortgage in Saudi Arabia?

Foreign investors currently cannot obtain Saudi mortgages for REGA-zone properties. Most investors purchase with cash. SAMA regulations on financing may evolve — speak to our team for the latest.

What happens after I pay RETT?

RETT (5%) is paid at the point of transaction. It is a one-time tax — there are no annual property taxes, no CGT, and no rental income tax in Saudi Arabia for individual foreign investors.

How long does KYC take?

NAL Lawyers typically complete KYC in 2–4 weeks. The standard process takes approximately 15 weeks total. An expedited premium track (6–8 weeks) is available for ready properties.

Is my UK tax position affected?

Yes — you will need to report rental income and any capital gains from Saudi property to HMRC. See our UK Tax Guide for full details. We recommend speaking to a UK-qualified tax advisor.
